Altitude Angel’s industry experts to guest lecture at Cranfield University

London, UK : How do you manage a drone superhighway?’ will be just one of the questions students studying Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) systems at Cranfield University will soon be asking as the team at Altitude Angel, the world’s most trusted UTM (Unified Traffic Management) technology provider, will be contributing to the curriculum through a series of guest lectures.

Altitude Angel will be helping students to develop knowledge and relevant skills by providing its GuardianUTM Cloud development toolkit, trusted data, user support, and tailored classroom training sessions for individual projects, to students studying for the university’s Advanced Air Mobility Systems MSc.

The course is being driven by market and industry trends, such as the digitalisation of Air Traffic Management (ATM), the rapid growth of Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) applications in recent years and their integration into crewed aviation airspace. This is creating a significant demand for talented graduates who can help unlock the full potential of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) applications.

Chris Forster, Altitude Angel, COO, said:  “With the emergence of transformative automated and autonomous technology in both crewed and uncrewed air traffic management systems, including new, sustainable, and intelligent aerial platforms, to transport people and goods, we’re welcoming the opportunity to help prepare students to enter the workplace in what promises to be the next cornerstone in the aerospace industry.

The Advanced Air Mobility Systems MSc is designed to equip students with the skills required to pursue a successful career in transforming the aviation industry applying the knowledge learned to introduce new automated and autonomous solutions, to enable a safe, orderly, and expeditious integrated airspace.
